This workshop is designed to help yoga teachers deepen their confidence, clarity, and skill in offering safe, effective hands-on assists. We’ll explore the purpose of hands-on adjustments—not as correction, but as communication—supporting students in feeling grounded, supported, and more aware in their practice.
Through discussion, demonstration, and plenty of practice, we’ll cover:
When and why to offer hands-on adjustments
Consent, boundaries, and trauma-aware touch
Anatomically informed assists for common poses
Using touch to support stability, ease, and embodiment
Modifications and alternatives when touch isn’t appropriate
This workshop emphasizes presence, listening, and intentional touch, helping you develop assists that feel supportive rather than intrusive. Open to yoga teachers and teacher trainees who want to refine their skills and teach with greater confidence and care.
