What to Expect

200 hours sets the framework. But where do you go from there? This is a training created for passionate yoga teachers looking to deepen their sequencing and cueing skills and take their classes to the next level.


This training gives yoga teachers a practical, repeatable framework for building intelligent, intentional sequences — from opening breath to final resting pose. Over two weekends, teachers move from the mechanics of cueing and pacing (Weekend 1) into the art of designing a class with a clear peak, a resonant theme, and a graceful close (Weekend 2).

The Mechanics of Sequencing

Weekend 1 builds the foundation — how to speak a sequence into being, and how to design a class template that flows logically toward a peak.

  • Layer verbal cueing, visual cueing, and physical adjustments in real time

  • Use the room to teach without breaking flow

  • Design a class template by working backward from a chosen peak pose

  • Use foreshadowing to prepare the body and mind for the peak

  • Break down a peak pose into its component actions and key focus points

The Art of Sequencing

Weekend 2 moves from mechanics into meaning — connecting theme, environment, and closing to create a complete, resonant class arc.

  • Connect a class theme or dharma talk directly back to the peak pose

  • Curate a teaching space intentionally through music and lighting

  • Select counter poses that balance the peak

  • Guide students through a gradual descent from peak energy to stillness

  • Teach a complete, theme-driven sequence from open to close

Two weekends, in-person, 200-hour continuing education / elective credit.
